Named in honor of our founder, Father Moreau, who said that “our students should not be ignorant of anything they should know,” we will use Moreau Days to help students validate the learning received Monday through Thursday by contextualizing those lessons into tangible real-world experiences and learning sessions.
These experiences will include but are not limited to Christian Service experiences, AP Exam Prep, PSAT/SAT Exam Prep, NWEA Testing, Class Retreats, Class Spiritual Experiences, Field Trips, a structured tutoring program, and other Holy Cross-Cultural Experiences.
While high school students will have assigned on-campus activities on various Moreau Days throughout the year, middle school students will experience Moreau Days EVERY Friday. Additionally, some high school students will be required to periodically attend some Moreau Days beyond those scheduled for their class as they will be representing the school or participating in some Holy Cross activity in a leadership or service capacity.
